System Shutdown

Follow these steps in reverse order of startup to safely power down the system:

  1. Mute & Power Down Amps (R1 Software):

    • On the PC, open the R1 software if it’s not already open.
    • Click the main Mute button to mute all amplifiers.
    • Click the main Power button to power down the amplifiers. Wait for confirmation.
    • Close the R1 software.
  2. Close Software:

    • Close the Klang software on the PC.
    • Save your recording session in Tracks Live on the Mac Mini, if applicable, and close the software.
    • Close any other running audio applications (Spotify, ProPresenter feeds if controlled locally).
  3. Shut Down Console:

    • Save the current session on the Digico console if desired (though the Sunday default should be recalled at next startup).
    • Follow the console’s shutdown procedure (often involving holding the power button or using a menu option - confirm specific procedure).
    • Once the console confirms it’s safe, turn off the two power switches on the back of the console.
  4. Shut Down Computers:

    • Properly shut down the PC.
    • Properly shut down the Mac Mini.
  5. Power Down Stage Racks:

    • Go to the stage left rack.
    • Turn off the three power conditioners using their switches.
