- Use headphones to fully experience the 3D effect while adjusting your mix.
- This page shows all individual input channels coming into the KLANG system.
- Adjust individual channel levels here to start building your mix. Mixes are initially zeroed out.
- Tap the Faders button again to access channel groups (e.g., Microphones, Drums, Guitars, Keys, Playback, Audience Mics).
- Once individual levels are set, you can make broader adjustments using these group faders.
- This page visualizes the 3D placement of sound sources around you.
- Select individual Groups (like Drums, Guitars, Mics) to see and adjust the position of channels within that group. Viewing all groups at once can be cluttered.
- Panning Options:
- Stereo: Left/Right.
- 3D: Forward/Backward, plus wider Left/Right spacing.
- Default Positions:
- Drums: Toms and Overheads are panned; Kick and Snare are centered.
- Guitars: Panned Left and Right.
- Bass: Centered. Keeping low-end centered helps avoid feeling unbalanced.
- Keys: Panned Left and Right (Stereo).
- Tracks: Panned.
- Audience Mics: Panned.
- Adjusting Placement: You can move elements like lead vocals forward or backward, or further left/right in the 3D space. Guitars and Keys can be pushed forward/backward or kept in a standard stereo pan.
- Go to the Faders page.
- Start bringing up essential channels one by one (e.g., start with Keys, add Bass, Guitars, Click, MD Mic, Vocals, Drums).
- Adjust levels for a basic balance.
- Go to the Stage page.
- Select groups (e.g., Mics) and adjust the spatial position if needed. Experiment with moving elements forward/backward.
