Editing

  • Access: Click the ‘Edit’ button in the main toolbar.
  • Functionality: Provides a full slide editor similar to PowerPoint or Keynote. You can add/modify text boxes, shapes, media, change formatting, backgrounds, etc.
  • Access: Click the ‘Reflow’ button in the main toolbar.
  • Functionality: Excellent for quickly editing text across all slides in a presentation (especially lyrics). Type or paste text, use the “Insert Slide Break” button to divide content onto new slides. Changes update dynamically.
  • Purpose: Make fast text corrections during a live presentation without leaving Show mode.
  • Access: Right-click on the slide needing correction in the center panel.
  • Select: Choose “Quick Edit”.
  • Edit: A small pop-up window appears with the slide’s text. Make the correction.
  • Close: Click the ‘X’ on the pop-up. Changes are saved automatically.

  1. Select Slide: In ‘Show’ mode, click the sermon slide needing editing.
  2. Go to Edit Mode: Click the ‘Edit’ button in the toolbar.
  3. Make Changes: Select the text box or object. Use the Inspector panel on the right (Text, Shape, Build tabs) to make formatting changes (font, size, color, alignment).
  4. Superscript: For verse numbers, highlight the number, click the gear icon in the Text Inspector, and use the superscript option next to ‘Baseline’.
  5. Return to Show: Click the ‘Show’ button when finished.
  • Alternate Edit Access: Right-click the slide in ‘Show’ mode and select “Edit Slide”. This takes you directly to that specific slide in Edit mode.
