Navigating the User Interface (UI)
Section titled “Navigating the User Interface (UI)”ProPresenter’s interface is designed for a logical left-to-right workflow.
Main Toolbar (Top)
Section titled “Main Toolbar (Top)”- Standard Menus: File, Edit, Presentation, Screens, View, Window, Help (Mac) or similar (PC) - for settings, import/export, enabling views, etc..
- Search: Quickly find presentations or add new songs (Command+F / Ctrl+F shortcut).
- Text: Adjust UI text size for better readability.
- Theme: Apply pre-designed looks to slides.
- Mode Buttons (Show, Edit, Reflow, Bible, More): Switch between different operational modes.
- Show: The primary mode for running presentations during an event.
- Edit: Full-screen editor for designing slides.
- Reflow: Text-focused editor for quickly adjusting lyrics/text across multiple slides.
- Bible: Access Bible search and display features.
- More: Access Stage Editor, Theme Editor, Props, Masks, etc.
- Media: Toggle the Media Bin visibility.
- Clear Buttons: Clear specific layers (Background, Props, Audio, etc.) or all layers.
- Store: Access the Renewed Vision Media Store.
Left Panel: Libraries & Playlists
Section titled “Left Panel: Libraries & Playlists”- Libraries: Folders where all your presentations (songs, sermons, announcements) are permanently stored. Create multiple libraries for organization.
- Playlists: Ordered lists of presentations for a specific event (e.g., a Sunday service). Typically, a new playlist is created for each event. The GKM standard is to import this from Planning Center.
Center Panel: Presentation View
Section titled “Center Panel: Presentation View”- Displays the slides of the currently selected presentation.
- Click a slide here to make it live.
- Layout can be Grid View (default) or Easy View (text-focused).
Right Panel: Preview
Section titled “Right Panel: Preview”- Shows a preview of what is currently being output to the main screen(s).
Bottom Panel: Media Bin
Section titled “Bottom Panel: Media Bin”- Contains background/foreground media playlists and hot folders. Can be toggled on/off with the ‘Media’ button in the toolbar.
Show Controls Toolbar (Right Side or Floating)
Section titled “Show Controls Toolbar (Right Side or Floating)”- Access to Audio controls, Stage Display controls, Timers, Messages, Props. (Specific controls may vary based on setup).
